Maxi Ring Ring
Maxi Ring Ring was created by Pavel Yarykin and first presented at the Ring-Ring Rally contest in September 2025. This innovative variant builds upon the concept of the classic Ring Ring puzzle but introduces restrictions on line lengths, fundamentally changing the dynamics of the solving process.
These additional constraints require solvers to balance local logic with global structure, giving rise to new strategies and fresh logical patterns not seen in the original format. Rules
Draw few rectangular loops through the centers of unshaded cell so that every unshaded cell is used. The sides of different rectangles may intersect each other, but not turn at their intersections or otherwise overlap. Numbers outside the grid show the length of the longest line in the corresponding row/column.
