Double Choco

Double Choko is a loop-construction puzzle that first appeared in Nikoli volume 163 (2018). The genre was invented by a contributor using the alias “Airplane”. Inspired in part by fractal art, the puzzle explores repeating structural ideas at both small and large scales, leading to elegant and layered deduction.
In this variant, solvers draw two separate non-intersecting loops within the grid. As in classic Chokona-style logic puzzles, clues influence how the loops must pass near or around certain cells, but here the dual-loop system introduces additional symmetry and interaction considerations. The result is a refined and visually satisfying puzzle type with a distinctive recursive feel.

Rules

Divide the grid along the grid lines into regions. Each region must contain one orthogonaly connected area of white cells and one area of shaded cells. The pair of areas must be of the same shape and size. The areas may be rotated or mirrored. A number indicates how many cells of one color the region contains. A region may contain several numbers - in this case all numbers must be equal.
